My e-bike has a very unique frame that doesn’t allow much to be mounted where the bottle cage mounts are. I tried 3 other products with zero luck before reading about Ghostrider Equipment. It’s a super compact bear spray holder that is pretty much my only option. It’s also up to the task of handling gnarly black diamond trails with no problem at all! I live and ride in So-Cal, so no Brown bear threat and only mild Black bear weariness. The only reason I carry bear spray, depending on which trails exactly I'm riding, is for mountain lions! This was the only frame mount bear spray holder I could find that was low profile and robustly built. I've had it on my bike now for 5-7 rides and is clearly an awesome product!

The holder fits our mountain bikes and isn’t in the way at all. We’ve left it on the bikes and don’t even notice it is there anymore while still being easy to reach. Fortunately we haven’t had an opportunity to actually use the spray yet.

This frame mount bear spray holder is working perfectly for me. Minimalist design that does just what is needed. Holds the bear spray securely with no rattling, and I feel i could grab it rapidly if needed.

I looked for months for the best bear spray holder for gravel and mountain biking. A lot of frame bags aren’t the perfect size, and you’d have to deal with a zipper to access it. Straps themselves tended to slip and not be totally secure. I finally found Ghostrider on a random Reddit post and have been thoroughly impressed with the quality! If you are on the fence about buying one, know that this product is the best one out there.

It does exactly what it's supposed to.

I purchased one of these for a bike packing event, where I wanted to have the bear spray accessible and not on my body. It did its job perfectly, holding the bear spray in a close and secure location, on the bikes down tube.

However, I recommend practicing with it like you're a gunslinger in a dusty saloon. Because when you're charged by a grizzly, (as I was) and your hands are wet and frozen, you're going to want to be the fastest gun in the west.

This bear spray universal mount holster is awesome! I do a lot of short rides and don’t want to ride with a pack. This solves that for me. I have a yeti sb140 & I was able to mount it on the top tube. I thought it might not fit there, because of the shock, but it does. It doesn’t really get in the way at all. Seems to be very secure and shouldn’t scratch my bike, although I do have it ridewrapped. Highly recommend, given the bear incident just happened in Creston. Thanks so much!

I am satisfied with my Universal Mount Bear Spray Holder. It remains secure while riding on uneven mountain biking terrain. The ease of securing the mount and removing it enables my family to move it from one bike to another, as needed. And it doesn't get in the way mounted on my top tube crossbar. Thanks Ghostrider!

I just installed my new GhostRider bear spray holder on my vintage, steel framed road bike turned gravel bike. I live in NW Montana, and my summer rides often take me into the foothills of nearby mountain wilderness. We always carry bear spray when hiking in the area, and now I have a spot to carry bear spray on my bikerides. The GR holder is rugged, and well-designed. The rubber straps hold it tightly to the frame, and the small strap for the spray cannister keep it in place even along bumpy gravel roads at speed. Even better, the attachment system will allow me to switch it to another bike that I ride less frequently. A great product

Feels very well made! I just took it on a couple day rides and 40mi overnight trip. Super secure, didn’t budge or wobble around at all. So nice to be able to mount it exactly where you want it!

The only room for improvement I saw was how easy it would be to lose that little keeper strap holding the bear spray canister in the mount. The canister would probably stay put without it, but it’s really nice knowing it’s fully secured in place. Maybe either add a keeper tether for the strap, or make the strap permanently attached to the mount? Also would be nice if that strap was easier grab & pull. In a hurry it could be hard to grab because it tucks down out of the way a little too well.

I've used it about 5 times now, On some really rough downhill trails. Bear spray holder seems great. Didn't move or slip it all, it has not left any marks on the frame of my bike. So far I've been very happy with the product! Also great to get the bear spray out of the back pack for easier access.
